A Great hit lands within 50 ms of its target. Good is within 100 ms. Later hits count as misses, and extra hits reduce the score. Browser and hardware latency can affect results.

Drum Hero turns small, repeatable timing challenges into a clear learning path. It is a practice aid—not a replacement for a teacher, careful listening, or an acoustic instrument.
Private by design
No login, backend, microphone, uploads, or analytics. Lesson completion and up to 50 recent sessions live in local browser storage and can be cleared with browser site data.
Accessible controls
Every drum has a labeled button and keyboard mapping. The interface supports visible focus, semantic status updates, responsive layouts, and reduced motion.
